I am a
collector of things. All things, living or dead,
artistic or eyesore, it makes no matter at all. I
would have every rattle in my baby crib if my Mom
hadn't thrown them out just before the wedding to
my first husband (I collect those too)! And
please don't get me started on things that purr,
bark and cluck.
To make a much longer story
much shorter, due to space constraints and my age
(how much can you pack in a coffin anyway?) I
have come to the conclusion that I must share
some of my collections with others. As Phyllis
Diller once said, regarding what to do with fresh
laundry, "You can only freeze so much of the
stuff!"
So join with me as I let you
peek into my closet, jewelry box, attic and
garden shed, and if you find any treasures, as I
know you will, please be gentle as you carry them
away.*
